An extremely dwarf Ajuga with masses of blue flowers in spring.
Narrow bronze-green foliage provides interest when the flowers have finished.
Very good for edging or blanketing a shady spot. Also good as a specimen on a rockery or in a container.
It copes well with sun and shade and poor soils, but does not like to dry out for prolonged periods..
Height: 8cm
Common name(s): Bugle, Baby's Shoes, Thunder and Lightning, Dead Men's Bellows.
Synonym: Ajuga 'Valfredda'
