Wormwood is useful in beds, borders, and rock gardens, and it makes an excellent foil for bright colors and dark foliage. This plant prefers good drainage and lots of sun.
A native herb with many reputed uses, including repelling moths, counteracting poisons, and as a flavouring for vermouth. Once one of a number of cures or, possibly, prophylactics for worms, Artemisia absinthium is best known today as the sometime active ingredient of the drink Absinthe, though its precise effects remain the subject of debate.
