Believe it or not this mint tastes and smells of basil (albeit a minty-basil). Most unusual. Use in drinks and savoury dishes. Excellent for pesto.
Can be dried.
Pale purple flowers in summer.
All flavoured mints smell first of mint, with the flavour being the secondary scent. The best example of this is mint chocolate, where you can taste both chocolate and mint.
