A lovely foxglove-like plant with prolific flowers which are long lasting. Additionally it will repeat flower, so you will have blooms over 4-5 months.
Rosettes of broad, soft-haired leaves give rise to very handsome spikes of rich pink gloxinia-like trumpet shaped flowers. The flowers have yellow spotted throats giving a very tropical effect.
Fully hardy in well-drained soil.
Good for pollinators.
Height: 60 - 90cm
The common name of perennial flower Rehmannia is Chinese Foxgloves because the tubular flowers bear a resemblance to our native foxglove, but unlike traditional foxgloves, Chinese foxglove petals of the bell lip flare open and outward.
