Rarely found in nurseries these days, this is our favourite Bellis. Lovely daisy flowers, the colour of which is reminiscent of the Violet sweets we used to eat as children.
Compact green foliage with flowers on tall stems from March to July.
Height: 10cm
Bellis - The name daisy was originally "Day's Eye" because the flower was the first to open in the morning. They were much used in Victorian cottage gardens, grown at the side of paths where their roots could enjoy the cool moist soil under the stones.
