Blue-green evergreen grassy leaves with sprays of nodding light-blue flowers with conspicuous yellow anthers in June and July, followed by small bright-blue berries. From Australia, where it is popular in gardens, this hardy perennial is becoming popular here in the UK now.
With a good upright habit, this is probably the best Dianella. Grow in a container or the border, in full or partial sun.
