Masses of greenish yellow flowers in early summer, with broad, slightly fluted, sage green leaves.
It grows pretty much anywhere. It's excellent for edging a path or border, or as a stand-alone specimen. It's also very good as ground cover in dry shade. It will self-seed if flower heads are left on.
Very drought tolerant when established.
An excellent plant for our pollinators.
Awarded the RHS Award for Garden Merit.
From Asia Minor in 1874 and was once widely used to staunch bleeding.
