The Italian Arum Lily, brought to this country in 1683. A striking plant with bold cream markings along the leaf veins. In spring pale green flowers appear well above the leaves, followed in autumn by a display of vivid red berries but it's really grown for the foliage. The foliage may die back in summer, leaving only the 'flower' stems.
Over time forms a good ground cover. Ideal for growing under trees and shrubs.
