An old Hardy Chrysanthemum
Chrysanthemum 'E.h. Wilson' is a very old, highly-scented hardy chrysanthemum variety. Classy, single cream flowers with lemon centres and a greeny yellow eye. Six layers of petals. Lovely in the border and also great for the vase.
This may be the 1905 introduction of the species collected in Korea by EH Wilson which was used as the parent of the single Korean hybrids and named 'Autumn Glory’.
Chrysanthemums make a welcome late summer and autumn show in borders and beds, with the added benefit of providing perfect cutting material for floral arrangements.
