Gladiolus for Cut Flowers
Originally from the olive groves of the Mediterranean and now naturalised in parts of southern England and the Silly Isles, this beautiful Gladiolus is an easy garden plant and makes excellent cut flowers. It works very well in borders or in grass, where the tall spikes of pink-purple flowers are resplendent in May and June. It's very drought tolerant and hardy in all but the most severe winters. The RHS have given it the Award of Garden Merit.
