Persicaria 'Purple Fantasy' is a wonderful ground cover plant, grown predominantly for its patterned leaves, although it does have small white flowers flushed with pink. Hardy throughout the UK, it has non-the-less a tropical look to it. 

Mint green leaves with bold silver and burgundy chevrons, the whole leaf will turn bright red with cold weather when grown in sun, retaining the chevron. Can be grown in full sun or partial shade.
