Painted daisies are old-fashioned perennials that have always been popular in cottage gardens and used as cut flowers. The foliage is bright green and ferny, with upright stems bearing loads of large, single yellow-eyed daisies.
‘Robinson’s Red’ is a delightful red-flowered variety. The many flowers grow on strong stems and are long-lived, so are perfect for cutting. It’s ideal for growing in a sunny border in well-drained soil, as well as containers on the patio.
Flowers from June to September. Likes a sunny, open situation.
Loved by bees and butterflies.
From the meadows of the Caucasus.
