A beautiful woodland plant with large white flowers that appear over mid-green leaves in spring.
It's perfect for woodland situations, or planted under trees or shrubs where it will come into flower before the new trees come into leaf. Prefers dappled shade, but will tolerate full shade or full sun.
It will survive drought well. Cardamine are often early to go dormant and can be deciduous from June until February.
Native to the Balkans.
