A tough and easy spring-flowering bulbous plant which naturalises well. Very pretty soft silvery grey-green flowers in May, bluebell-like in stature. Sweetly scented. Originally from Bulgaria and SW Turkey.
Good for cutting and lasts very well in a vase. Perfect for planting in mixed borders, pots and containers or even in grass as the foliage can be mown when it dies back after flowering.
Prefers a sunny or lightly shaded position in well-drained to average soil.
Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Height: 40cm
