This hardy African Daisy has been growing in our garden for many years and we have now propagated it and given it a name. It has come through many winters, including the 'Beast from the East' 2017/18 winter so appears to be fully hardy. It has very pale pink flowers, which appear white from a distance. The tips of the petals look like they have been lightly dipped in darker pink ink.
Osteospermums come from Southern Africa and vary greatly in hardiness, with many having to be grown as annuals in the UK. 'Shire Pink' appears to be fully hardy however. They provide a splash of colour over a long season. They need a sunny position and are very drought tolerant when established.
Can be planted in the border or in large containers.
Height: 30cm
