A wonderful, short lilac-blue penstemon that flowers from May to October.
Penstemons really are fantastic plants for any garden. They don't seem to suffer from any pest or disease and even the slugs avoid them. On top of that, they flower for months on end, right into autumn when many other plants have given up for the winter. They look equally at home in a traditional cottage garden, or a stylish modern design.
Loved by bees.
Flowers are occasionally pinky-blue early in the season.
Does best in full sun but will tolerate partial shade without problems. Most soil types are fine, including quite dry.
