An easy-to-grow, tuberous plant with eye-catching spires of coral-pink blooms in late spring. Attractive foliage too, which is tinged with silver and nicely divided for a soft-textured look.
Most happy in shade, although will also grow in a sunny spot. Moist or dry soil.
Good for under planting trees and shrubs. Does well in containers too. Very good drought resistance when established and not bothered by rabbits.
Note that the foliage dies back after flowering in spring and you may receive plants that are not showing any foliage (i.e. Summer Dormant). This happens earlier in pots and is not a problem.
