Open, wide-eyed gentian-blue flowers, incredibly intense. Good deep green, unmarked leaves. Flowers throughout spring.
Perfect for a dark, shady spot that doesn't get too dry.
A good source of early season food for bees and are very attractive to them, particularly the 'hairy footed flower bee', Anthophora plumipes.
