A compact, succulent drought-resistant alpine which is perfect for a rockery, container or gravel garden. Large magenta flowers from May to July. The green foliage turns red in autumn, adding further interest.
Salt tolerant so excellent for coastal areas. Great for pollinators.
Awarded the RHS Award for Garden Merit.
Very drought resistant when established. Excellent for rockeries, gravel gardens, containers etc. Fully hardy but they don't like it too wet in winter, so plant in well-drained soil.
