Arching sprays of dainty, rose-pink, heart-shaped flowers appear in late spring and early summer above fern-like, fresh green leaves. It looks great planted in groups towards the front of a shady border or as part of a cottage garden scheme.
Most happy in light shade, although will also grow in a sunny spot. It works well planted under trees and shrubs and does well in containers too. Best in good rich soil.
A tough hardy perennial which looks delicate. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
