Highly valued for ground cover and its autumn foliage colour. Deep blue flowers in summer, from August to October.
From China in 1846. A shrubby perennial.
Grow as ground cover or edging plant along the front of a border. Good drought-tolerance once established.
In late summer, the foliage turns shades of scarlet and finally maroon red. Beautiful.
Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Height: 30cm
Common name: Hardy Plumbago
Please note that this plant does not come out from its winter dormancy until much later than a lot of plants. If you order this in the spring, it will not have foliage. That does not mean it's dead!
