Wonderful double red flowers with serrated petals on blue foliage. Scented. Very similar to Dianthus 'St Nicholas'.
Not much is known about the history, although it possibly originated with Frank Lawley of Herterton House, Northumberland. Its age is uncertain but is known to pre-date 1990.
Also known as Dianthus 'Lawley's Red'.
