From Northern China comes this very useful hardy perennial. Tall spikes of yellow flowers throughout the summer, above interesting deeply-lobed foliage. Extremely attractive to pollinators. Happy in full sun or partial shade in any but extremely dry soil.
Grows slowly into a good sized clump. Suitable for cut flowers.
Awarded the RHS Award for Garden Merit.
