An exotic-looking large evergreen perennial with spectacular, grey-green leaves with deeply serrated edges. Tall tubular, red-brown flowers throughout summer.
It makes a dramatic statement in a sunny, sheltered border or exotic garden scheme.
Very drought tolerant when established. From South Africa and hardy down to at least -5c. We have had no problems growing it here in Buckinghamshire. Grow in full sun in a sheltered spot.
