One of the finest Pulmonaria. Silvery spotted leaves and ice-white flowers opening from pink buds. Perfect for brightening up a dark corner.
Perfect for a dark, shady spot that doesn't get too dry.
A good source of early season food for bees and are very attractive to them, particularly the 'hairy footed flower bee', Anthophora plumipes.

Pulmonaria:
Some names describe the former use as a cure for lung ailments, some the colour and shape of the flowers, some the spotting of the leaves and some the contrast of the pink/blue flowers.
