Very low-growing mats of mossy foliage from which masses of small white flowers arise in summer. Excellent tolerance to drought.
Shallow rooted, this plant will grow on most soils, including dry sandy soil. Plant on rockeries, in containers or even in cracks between paving slabs.
Native to Europe from Iceland to the Mediterranean countries.
Can also be grown as a house plant.
