An interesting plant with pale primrose-yellow dangling flowers which twist as they open. A good shade plant. Flowers in April and May.
Happy in any soil which is not bone dry, in part or full shade. The foliage often dies back in summer, like many spring plants, although it is more likely to remain with older, more established plants. As a perennial, it returns the following spring.
