The rarely offered beautiful white flowered form of Verbascum nigrum. Blooms profusely in late spring and early summer, sometimes into late summer.
Verbascum nigrum is one of the most reliable and long-flowering varieties of mullein.
This European native can be found on dry, stony hillsides and open woodlands, but plants are well-adapted to cottage, gravel, and rock gardens, or naturalised areas. Verbascum nigrum album will tolerate a wide range of soil conditions but must have good drainage.
Height: 90cm
Common name: Mullein
Please note that Verbascums often develop brown or purple spots/splotches on their leaves in summer, particularly when it is dry. This is not a problem and does not affect the growth of the plant.
