A beautiful woodland plant with large white flowers that appear over mid-green leaves in spring.
It's perfect for woodland situations, or planted under trees or shrubs where it will come into flower before the new trees come into leaf. Prefers dappled shade, but will tolerate full shade or full sun. It will survive drought well, but may fall dormant in mid summer if the soil dries out completely.
Native to the Balkans.
